Brodie/Snowy Owl?

It seems like it has been a long time since Brodie was sold to Silverleaf, yet I haven't heard of anything being done there. I think I heard that if there was ever going to any skiing there that Jiminy had the option managing the operation. I mention this only in the hope that there might be skiing there again. I have done the usual Google searches, but I can't seem to find anything new. Has anybody heard or seen anything going over there?

Jiminy owned or leased it or something a few years ago and operated it as their tubing place. Then they decided that they were loosing skiing visits to it so they got out.

Now their is a a-hole security guard there who chases you down and makes you leave or calls the cops if you try and ski there.

So I take it there was no signs of construction.

If you go to berkshireeagle.com today (Friday) they have a report on the old Brodie, it is under the Headlines area.

Sorry to see they are going to tear down the Main Lodge. That was a classic.

Jiminy put in the sales agreement that the Brodie property could never ever be used as a ski area.

IIRC the agreement said that it couldn't be used as a public ski area, but that it could be used as a private area for the people who owned the condos they were supposed to put in.

The Brodie trails have so much more character that those at Jiminey. I wish the original plan for Jiminey run it had flown.
