Night skiing on packed powder man-made snow
Much like riding a roller coaster, skiing is an instant attitude adjustment. Tonight was crisp but not bitter-cold or very windy. Two main slopes and two chairs were open, plus a rope tow and two practice slopes. Conditions were packed powder on Nashoba Slope and packed powder plus hardpack on War Dance. $23 lift ticket for skiing 5-10 PM. I skied from about 7:15-10. When everyone arrived there were a total of six of us, and after we finished skiing at 10, the snow started. It was beautiful and it ended up being a nice way to start the season on Nashoba's opening day.
