| This is what I've always heard. Since I've never tried snowboarding I don't know personally but I've heard this from many people & believe it to be true.

| After 20 years of skiing I switched to snowboarding last year. I was pretty much bored with skiing. At this point I don't think I'll ever go back to skiing. My philosophy on the issue is that it's personal preference. I've been told that snowboarders can't do moguls, destroy groomed trails, are a general disgrace to winter sports, and my favorite "snowboarders don't have any fun". I disagree. I have a blast every day, I love moguls, and if I'm "destroying a groomed run" something is really wrong with me. On the most basic levels i believe boarding is easier than skiing but it's entirely different. Each day brings new challenges and I look forward to that.
