I'm guessing that if it's a '98 that it's alll paid off, so the extra $$ for premium is still way less than a monthly payment for a new car!

Premium gas these days is a real bargain. Compared to when gas was in the 1 -> 2 dollar range, the percentage higher than regular is much lower. Thats because they've stayed with the 20 cents or so higher than regular formula. We should prolly all be putting in premium

106K, Honda civic

previously, I had 109k on a ford escort hatchback, great gas mileage and I could fit anything in that hatchback. I totaled it due to icy conditions....I missed that car.

That's the way I look at it. It's also a really fun car to drive too.

Right now I'm having a problem with the #1 cyl misfiring. Gonna replace that fuel injector tomorrow, already tried everything else I can think of. The sticker runs out this month, if that doesn't work I'll get a rejection sticker and drive it the 90 days I'm allowed and then get rid of it.
