Links often take me to forum home

I have the skiing forum bookmarked:

http://forums.alpinezone.com/forum-2.html

If I go to that link, pick a topic, and click "reply", it brings me back to the forum's home page. This is under Windows XP, with Firefox 1.0. I have the forum set to remember my login. What's the problem?

try using this link instead. make sure you're logged in:

This is a "logged out" URL. My suggestion would be to clear your cookies. Restart your browser, log in with remember me selected, and then update your bookmark to use:

http://forums.alpinezone.com/viewforum.php?f=2

Yep, that fixed it - thanks! I wondered why I was getting the html links on the main page instead of php.
