| Stratton Date(s) Skied:March 12th Resort or Ski Area:Stratton,VT Conditions:Powder!! Trip Report: How many times a year can you ski Stratton with bumps and powder all over the mountain? Well..this was one of those times. The only thing I regret was that we didn't go to a mountain with more pitch. We started the day on the gondola. Then skiied over to bear down trail. Which had some nice pow and full of bumps...GREAT run. Then, we took sunrise express to the top and skiied upper downeaster. Which conditions were the same...Pow! Did a couple others then went in for lunch. After lunch headed over to world cup. Which a ski team were doing flips and daffys etc. Which was really cool to watch. And a fun trail to ski. Packed it in around 3pm due to extreme leg fatigue. Great trip, great snow, pictures are in the gallery. |
