| Gore Mountain - 3/19/05 Date(s) Skied: Saturday, March 19th Resort or Ski Area: Gore Mountain Conditions: Loose granular on hardpack Trip Report: It was an absolutely beautiful day at Gore. Very mild and sunny. Conditions were decent given that there hadn't been any fresh snow in a little while. The snow was best on the north side throughout the morning hours. The steeps got skied off as the day wore on, though I always found plenty of soft snow skier's left. Tahawus glades was the only marked glade that I skied and it was full of firm moguls and very little soft snow. I had better luck in other spots that shall remain nameless. Overall, a great day at Gore. ![]() Check out the rest of the pics here: http://forums.alpinezone.com/modules...view_album.php |
