So ... as mentioned in this thread, do we think Boyne is looking to do here the same idea as with the North Peak Lodge at Sunday River? I'll bet that if things work out at SR, we'll see another chondola or a full gondola replacing the Bucksaw Chair.

Thoughts?

Heh-heh. I've had my share of burgers at Bullwinkles, I'm always partial to the up-on-the-mountain lunch places over the base mob scene, even if it's pricier. Good to see the investment in the property going in - I wonder what else is in store for the 'Loaf? We're definitely getting up there this winter, though the drive length means it'll have to be a 3 or 4 day weekend to be worth it. Awww, darn.

I'll tell you they had a fine young lady serving brew there last year that got alot of jaws to drop. I would have enjoyed having her serve cocktails at my place.

Is that little drinking shack still on top of the mountain? I remember me and my buds going in there one Sat afternoon at 3pm during a blizzard having a few pops then finishing our day with a nice run to the base at 3:45 we were the only ones on the mountain. Skied the next day on 32" of white gold. ahhh the memories.
