I voted "yes". I bought my New England pass months ago and I plan on using it. My hours also changed at work which will allow me to hit Loon on Fridays as opposed to Wachusetts. I also bought an AWD Astro Van that I plan on sleeping in many nights up in Maine. If gas prices stay high I'll find other things to cut back on.

187 miles each way each weekend. Just bought a bigger vehicle to make room for the dog. Mileage is about the same. On days where I can only ski one day I will go to Loon and save some gas money there.

My cut backs will be going out to dinner less and shorter apres ski evetns. I bought an indoor smoke slow cooker so we can have easy meals that are good at the end of the day.

I put more insulation in the the condo to cut heating costs. A few of the SR regulars have talked about rotating Apres ski to each persons home a bit to save on he apres ski cost. Hang together privately instead of publically to save a few dollars.

In addition to local skiing there will be NO changes to our travel plans for ski trips on President's Week or several other 2-3 day long jaunts thru-out the NE and and Canada

My family's place is in Conway, a 135-mile drive from my locale in Mass. so we'll be driving that often.

But with a 1-year-old around, I'll still be a slave to the day trip, which this year might have to be closer to home from time-to-time. Although, if gas keeps falling...

Only place I won't go anymore is Europe. With the Euro so strong it just doesn't pay. I'll take Utah pow anyday.
