The chute in picture #2 is north facing so I'm guessing it's chalky snow which for me is really fun to ski..two seasons ago at Jackson Hole..it only snowed about 6 inches early in my trip and then was dry and all the north facing terrain was just so nice..Aside from pure powder..chalky bumps and steeps are the bomb deezy..makes my hungover ass drool just thinking about it..

yup. one more voice to the chorus. also #2 looks like it might have some forced choke points that probably get pretty hammered and scraped. i'd pick #1 if all i really wanted was to ski a good bump run or work on technique. i'd pick #2 just because i like that shit. more challenging & interesting.
