Moose Mountain in Brookfield,NH is where it all started for ol' NHPH. We used to go night skiing during high school for $5 on Mondays
I've wanted to skin up it but i'm not sure if i'll be tresspassing.It doesnt matter 'cuz i'm doing it anyway
I learned on the old skis that had straps that go around your leg rather than ski brakes It wasnt much but I always had a blast there!

I stopped by there a couple years ago. Although it was pretty grown in you could tell that it had been a ski area. You could not go into the base area, it was posted. but I could see that some of the lifts were still up, left to rot right where they stood the day it closed. Last year I swung by again and took pictures. Here is my report:

OMG, how old is that brochure? The summit Double was powered by a diesle engine. Very noisy when standing in the liftline.
