One thing that now bugs me about DirecTiVo is the inability to network it like you can with a vanilla Series2 TiVo. The phone line at my DirecTiVo's location is on the fritz and I wanted to get it to download it's schedule from the Internet versus dialing up. Unfortunately, the Direct TV version of TiVo disables the USB ports so putting it on a home network is not possible. This is the only thing I've found so far about DirecTiVo that I don't like; although it's a pretty big limitation, IMO... | |
