Jack Nicholson Movie Question

Just when I thought I had been asked about every question, a new one comes along. Does anyone remember the 1994 movie Wolf? Supposedly Jack Nicholson is bitten by a wolf and the question is was it in Waitsfield or Roxbury? There seems to be differing opinions on that. I was here and I don't even remember Nicholson shooting a movie here. Anyone?

Jack is one of my favorite actors. That wasn't a bad movie until the end and then I was just stupid.

Maybe it was one of those movies that make you feel dumber just for having seen it?

I don't know, I think it works either way. I felt dumber for having watched it to the end.

answer found

the answer was provided by a local who recognized the shot right away. It was the Ap Gap, with the long sweeping section of road and the (then) Beaver Pond below. It sure looks awful now that the dam is out and the pond drained thought. so the answer is Buel's Gore.
