Nordica's Speedmachine line's strap is a form of BoosterStrap.
Time will tell if it's as good. Have used the BStrap in the past....works very well...was far better than my Salomon strap(~1997-99). There are two differing straps that vary in amount of strength of the strap/bungee?.

I got Booster Straps to replace the straps in my heavily modified boots. Because I added maximum forward lean spoilers, heal lifts, and foamed liners I needed new, longer straps. For what it's worth, they work fine but do not live up to the performance hype in my opinion.

Right on bigbog. There is an booster strap on all Nordica high end boots except the Dobermann line. I may be getting the Dobie Pro 130's next week. If I do I'm removing the velcro strap and putting on the booster. I definately feel the difference in rebound when flexing.
