Breaking broken records on Mount Washington

It's simply unbefreakinlieavable to me that a record for all time 24hour precip on Mount Washington that stood since 1969 till 2005 was broken again just 8 days later. To me, mindboggling.

Here's to a great ski/board season.

I saw the observatory cam shot this morning was "black"...last update was after midnight. Wonder if they lost power?

Must be nice living the dream up there NHPH. *envy*
