Why do PM's take to long to leave the outbox and send sometimes?

PMs remain in your Outbox until the recipient checks them. At that point, they are moved to your Sentbox. Nice feature as it provides the opportunity to edit a PM provided the recipient hasn't received it yet.

Like that one that I sent that told you to go suck an egg, which I edited later on to say "Sure, I'd love to help with FOT48...
