Thanks. I plan to stop by the ski store again before making any purchases online to check to see what they have in stock and what they recommend. And, I will check out boots before I buy any skis. I definitely plan on trying on boots that I buy. In terms of the options I found online for skis, would the dynastar omedrive or the atomic e3 be good for a beginner? Or are they better for someone who knows what they are doing? Are both reputable brands?

Those of you from New England (or NH or ME specifically), which resorts do you like best? I've been to Sunday River and Gunstock locally (very limited greens).
