Ski Report - Sunday River - 1/3/03

spent Friday & Saturday at Sunday River - yesterday was a bit odd, alternating from snow/freezing rain/hail/wet rain/fog most of the day.

BUT, they opened up white heat for the first time Sat, after some overnight natural & made snow, and that was pretty sweet in the morning, with some nice (not too wet, but still heavy) powder, made a few laps on that before it got too chewed up, and the visibility got really crappy around lunch yesterday.

Right Stuff was pretty sweet, with some fluff for most of the day friday, the rest of Barker/Locke was pretty nice, and the NorAM racers were tearing up Obsession despite the poor visibility both days. Risky Biz, AMEX had good powder on the edges.

Aurora/Jordan, still pretty hard packed, and not too much open yet.

Trees have been closed since the big storms, can't wait for some more to drop in there.
