| Ski Sundown - 3/3/2006 (Night) Date(s) Skied: Friday, March 3, 2006, 8 pm - 10:10 pm Resort or Ski Area: Ski Sundown, New Hartford, CT Conditions: Packed powder, LGR, hard pack, ice. Cold and breezy. Clear skies. Trip Report: Didn't click in until about 8 pm. Happened to see 2knees coming down as I rode the lift up. I waited at the summit and we were off. Not much to report on besides the bumps on Nor'easter. They're still very similar to how they've been the past few weeks. The lines are pretty much the same and they're still firm, but the couple of inches from yesterday helped. We probably banged out 12+ runs. I felt like I was in a bit of a funk, but 2knees said I looked fine. He bashed the moguls in typical 2knees fashion. A great night with great company. Thanks Pat. There was a skiing accident at the mountain tonight though. Even Life Star helicopter landed as I was heading out. I heard on the news tonight that it was a man knocked unconsious. The spot of the accident was a flat area on Exhibition before you get to the base, but it's a very windblown area with glare ice. He likely hit his head and was Life Starred to Hartford Hospital. Hope he's okay. 2knees saw a snowboarder go down in the same area. |

| Glad you guys had a good time. I, of course, had to work all night at lift 4 at the sunny side area. I hope the guy that got injured is alright. It was kinda cool to see life star land in the parking lot though...

Yeah - I saw the chopper land. Kind of interesting to watch a helicopter land in a parking lot at night... | |

| Man, I miss all the excitement. Wish I knew you guys were there, I was there with the kid from 6:30 to 9. Missed the Lifestar deal, but I'm not surprised, it was pretty slick in places.
