Very very cold, sunny and cold with a side order of cold. I had a hood for my helmet, I wasn't cold anywhere except my fingers which made taking pictures very difficult. At no point could you take your gloves off, nor did I take my goggles off. At least it wasn't that windy. In the valley area where you get on Heaven's gate the wind picked up and howled a little. But at the summit it really wasn't too terrible. In the shade it was near impossible to stand still for any length of time without moving.

Here are a few quick snap shots I took from the day.

Looks Great

Great pics! Not a lot of skiers. Good cover? glare ice or can you get an edge in it? Looks great!

Looks pretty damn cold though.

Thanks.

Cover was good finally. A few glare ice late day in the traveled spots, but pretty much getting an edge and carving was no problem all over. Not like last Sunday's ice skating.

I finally got up relatively early today so I'm heading back up.
