Killington Trip 1-19-04

Arrive around 9am and the temp was 10 degrees at the base with winds 20-30mph! My friend finally came with me to pick up his all-east college pass and we parked at snowshed in a make shift spot so we were really close.

Knew right away with all the wind it was not going to be a fun day, and upon getting on the mountain immediately saw how wind blow and icy everything was.

We quickly made our way over to Superstar express and watched people sliding on their asses down superstar because they couldn't edge. Headed over to ovation and the woods over there and Ovation was a big glacier with hardly anything edgable.

Quickly becoming discouraged, we tried a few woods over by ovation and we were not pleased.

Headed over toward low rider and North Star and played over there in the woods with more success but it just wasnt happening. WE NEED MORE REAL SNOW!

Called it a day around 2pm.
