Greetings teaoutdoors and and thank you for post!

Yes you were on the Twinway, a section of the A.T. hiking up to the beautiful views at Zeacliff. The hike up to Zeacliff from the huge parking area on Rte 302 is 15.4 miles r.t. What's a half mile. A great haul in that finishes with superb views. That's some good hiking you did!

Now I know where to find my old friend Tinman these days. Glad that you mentioned him, also.

Thanks, good to know this. I was planning on a trip Saturday over Hale, down to the hut, then up to the summit of Zealand and back out. We'll see how the weather is, what with the storm coming in.
