Yeah, really. I guess that's the whole point of "dreaming", eh?

Ski Dreams

Happens all the time to me. Usually I'm floating through the trees on some steep and deep powder. In fact, if I wake up too early to get up, I can actually "provoke" a ski dream. I must have snow on the brain! And yes, I'm a better skier in my dreams then I am on actual snow. On the other hand, I consider it great practice to "dream" myself better.

I wish my ski dreams would come back. Lately I've been having dreams that I robbed a bank or something and I'm running from the authorities. I keep finding a place to stay, but then they find me and I have to pack up all my stuff and run away again...

Where's the snow already?????

Well, Lately I haven't been able to remember my dreams, although we all dream, we can't always remember that we did. In order to rember a dream, you have to be partly awake, I love remebering my ski dreams though, they always make me feel like Im floating on top of the snow, and effortlessly turning in big G turns or S turns.

I haven't had a full-fledged ski dream in a long time. Last night I did have a dream in which I was wearing -one- of my BD gauntlets.
In the dream I asked my wife, "Why the hell am I wearing -one- glove?" My ski pass arriving yesterday seems to have my unconcious putting it's ski boots on.

I never have ski dreams .. the only reoccurring dream I have is the one where I get a letter from the goverment stating that I need to report back to active duty in the Navy because I still owe them time even after serving 6 years active duty. There I am pulling my seabag back up the gang plank...

I had one last weekend. It was pretty funny. I was boarding at Sugarloaf, but the trail I was on wasn't any real trail. Mostly there were spring conditions, but I also crossed several hundred yards of grass without slowing down or hitting rocks. On the grassy parts, I passed several people camping and hiking.

The goofiest part was: do you know how in the latest SSX video game, if you do an Uber-trick you go in slow motion? Every time I caught air, it was like that. I was spinning like crazy, doing 720s and 900s off of little hits. Apparently I'm quite rad in my dreams.

Once I got to the base area, typical dream plot dissociation occurred. There was a subway station in the base village. Some hippie kids tried to get me to shoplift cigarettes for them. I ended up wandering around a giant apartment building whose rooms were not numbered in any reasonable order, then I woke up. I should have taken another run!
