Play Hookey 'n' Hike! A hike organized by Creek Critter ( Diane K.) South Carter is 4430', Middle Carter 4610'. This is a 10.8 mile loop, with 3500' elevation gain, in about 8 hours (or more) on the high end of moderate in terms of length with very good footing to make it a pleasant hike. We will meet at the 19 mile trail parking lot on Rte 16 (about 2.5 miles north of Wildcat Ski Area and about 2.5 miles south of Dolly Copp [Pinkham B] Road) to gear up for an 8:30 am start. Those with the correct gear and experience are most welcome to join in on the fun! As always, kindly let me know that you are joining us.
