    2023/2024 Season Passes

I went a little overboard for this season... Epic Pass Northeast, Ikon Base (plus Loon/Sunday River/Loaf Pass) and Gunstock... Gonna be a lot of skiing I hope!

    Skiology Matt in Litigation

I wouldn’t be surprised if the IRS is looking. Also love that it is in federal court too. So at least $75k in damages against him (if I remember my civics correctly)

    Skiology Matt in Litigation

Meanwhile back in the delusional world of Matt Bramble, he’s asking for more money.

He’s such a boob. I love that this is all happening to him.

    11/26/2022 - Mount Sunapee - Frozen Granular/Hard Packed

Spent my second day out for the season at Sunapee. Certainly was a firm day out on the snow, and it got skied off pretty quickly, with only one run from the top available. The route was Bonanza, to Old Goat, down Westside through the Beck brook and down onto Lower Blastoff. The lower part...

    Gunstock Management team resigns

While I am not a NH resident, I hope that the people of NH will vote these creeps in September or November. Gunstock dodged a bullet here, but as long as Silber and his cadre of psychophants are involved, this isn't over I fear. I remember back in 2016 before I was forced out of the MBTA by...

    Gunstock Management team resigns

Even though I am a lefty fire breathing Dem, who abhors the republicans (and yes Charlie Baker is responsible for the MBTA's demise - I worked there when he fucked it up by puting his little Harvard Kennedy School pukes in there), as a former auditor - the issue here is materiality. A one time...

    VAIL SUCKS

Going to try to respond paragraph by paragraph: Speaking specifically for Mass General Brigham, where I worked up until November before accepting a job outside the system, they terminated 458 employees out of 80,000, which is .5% of the entire workforce. The vax mandate didn’t have an impact...

    VAIL SUCKS

Personally, I like NH over Vermont for scenic beauty. I do agree that at the moment, it seems Vail could care less about North Conway. For them it’s all about Okemo and Stowe, from a brand perspective. That sucks for those of us who love NH and visit often. I’m hoping the complaints they...

    VAIL SUCKS

How cute, bluanon, so damn original. And perhaps if you read my answer earlier, you would see that a vax mandate, reduces the influx of critically sick individuals overwhelming the hospitals in the area. I get it you’re a “my freedom and my rights” guy … so here is the open market - you...

    VAIL SUCKS

Nobody is digging into your medical history. A simple card looking to see if you’re vaccinated or not isn’t the same as going into your Electronic Medical Record. Lighten up Francis.

On a more positive note, looks like Wildcat finally opened Upper Catapult and Upper Wildcat.

    VAIL SUCKS

Regarding cancer procedures being canceled - “The situation is so bad that it’s forcing hospital administrators to make heartbreaking choices to limit all but the most urgent surgeries and procedures. This extends even to some cancer surgeries, forcing doctors to weigh which tumors are growing...

    VAIL SUCKS

Woke-ism? Absolute nonsense - Just step foot into some of the local hospitals and see what is going on with the unvaccinated and how they are clogging up the ICUs, and hospital beds in general to the point where they are cancelling elective surgery. But, hey I am glad to see instead of...

    VAIL SUCKS

My hunch is that it had to do with Vail's terrible hiring process and poor wage rates. I am sure they were pulling from other mountains they managed to get staff there. Personally, if I were a Vail Exec, I would push for more local autonomy in recruiting, hiring and retention. Doesn't help...
