    Cannon - 3/8/18 powdery day

Jealous. Cannon is hands one of the best mountains (and closest for me) in the east on a powder day. I haven't been there in two years because when the season's aren't great, Cannon isn't too kind to us boarders.

    2017-18 Western ski plans

I was just at Alyeska in Alaska, which was pretty good considering it hadn't snowed in a few days... still got freshies from putting a little work in. On the way back, we hit Crystal Mountain in Washington. It's a relatively unheard of mountain, which made it that much better. They have been...

Would be nice to see it soon. Right now you can only get some if you have a card. I was just recently in Alaska and was able to walk right in to a shop and get some before hitting the mountain for some runs. ;-)

Mont Tremblant, Quebec is where it's at right now.

Seriously! Anheuser-Busch has that place on lockdown. But, a couple bars have a beer called Mad & Noisy as an alternative which was new to me, and given the lack of options, the best one. It was similar to a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Mont Tremblant, Quebec is where it's at right now.

I've been to Killington, Loon, and friends have been to Cannon so far this season... Over New Years we were at Tremblant for the first time, and if you can handle the cold a bit, the snow they have is worth it. That mountain may be my favorite in the East because of how it's set up.

WTF with all the back packs

Hiding them on the mountain is a great idea! But, if you have a big enough jacket, you could probably fit a few in there...
