    Indy Ski Pass

I found out at Waterville Valley that you can't scan your Indy Pass twice in the same day, whether it be at a Nordic or downhill center. So unfortunately that plan doesn't work. It would be better if they allowed people to scan for Nordic and downhill on the same day, not sure what difference...

2015-2016 Ski Voucher and BOGO thread

Offer 1 I have a ticket good for either Kicking Horse or Fernie in British Columbia, Canada. I was at Kicking Horse when their gondola broke. This happened (not to me, but on the day I was there!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rcv5WfpMxSI The ticket I had for the following day could not be...

2014-2015 Ski Voucher and BOGO thread

Anyone have a 2 for 1 coupon or better for Wildcat or Sunday River? I can trade a midweek 2 for 1 for Sugarbush, Killington and Stratton. Thanks.

AlpineZone Challenge 2012 Results - Steve Wright of Jay Peak

My point exactly! If that really is true, that is really a stupid idea!!!!

AlpineZone Challenge 2012 Results - Steve Wright of Jay Peak

I would have to agree with BenedictGomez and RiverCoil in saying that the Timbuktu Groomer is a bad idea. First off, intermediates won't care about one trail being added and it certainly won't make the difference in changing Jay's reputation as a place with not very many intermediate trails...

AZ Challenge 2011: Steve Wright, Jay Peak

Thanks for the response Steve. I want to believe what you're saying. However, I have a fear that this lift will just be another one that's going to be very cold and, even worse, on wind hold often. Hopefully the wind meters are accurate. On the trail map, the positioning of this new lift makes...

AZ Challenge 2011: Steve Wright, Jay Peak

There is a plan to replace the Bonaventure Quad with a high speed six passenger chair going up the Powerline. Given that the Flyer is a very cold lift, and that it is often on wind hold like the Tram, what makes you believe that installing another high speed lift is going to make the skiing...

Jay Peak Conceptual Development Plan (2011-2016)

I can't say I'm a fan of any of these changes. On top of the Timbuktu Groomer, the rerouting of Green Beret is especially troubling to me. I love Jay the way it is. What sets it apart is the terrain, it looks like they're just trying to become an intermediate mountain. They should be proud of...

Jay Peak Conceptual Development Plan (2011-2016)

It looks like the West Bowl will be its own isolated ski area. It doesn't look like it's going to mix in well with the rest of the resort. I'm not a big fan of crossover lifts, like the previous poster, would it not make more sense to have a lift run from the West Bowl up JFK to meet up with the...

    Jay Peak Lift Rummors

It is true that 6-packs are very wind resistant as there is one at Mont Orford in QC (a mountain almost as windy as Jay and there are never any wind holds there), so I guess I could eventually be persuaded. But I have to say with regards to any intermediate chairlift to access Tramside from...
