Ski Sundown Opening Day - 11/28/08

Yeah it doesn't let me do much. Could suck it up for a day here and there but pay for it BIG time the few days afterwards.

Ski Sundown Opening Day - 11/28/08

Crazy how that worked out. Things are going well.3 kids playing sports year round and coaching a few of them doesn't leave me any time to ski these days. Do you guys still get together set days during the week?

Ski Sundown Opening Day - 11/28/08

You still bumping it up Pat? Got the email notification from you posting to this thread. I've only been twice in the past 4 years. Probably have been on AZ once in the past 4 years as well. How I miss the good old days.

    Sundown Opening Weekend

I remember that day like it was yesterday. One hell of a December day in CT. I wish I could get out there with you guys (and girl) today!

    Be Careful - Broken Thumbs

Add another one to the busted thumb club. For some reason I have always clutched onto my poles during falls. I have broken the thumb on my right hand 7 times. I guess I really need to learn how to stay on my feet.:dunce:

Magic Mtn will open for 2010-11!

Is anybody here a shareholder? I am thinking about becoming one. Aside from the improvements that are planned if they sell all of the shares I am interested in the other “perks” of being a shareholder. If anyone is a shareholder could you PM me so I can pick your brain? Thanks

    Romantic New Years Ski Getaway?

Sundown! ;-) I don't think you can go wrong with any of the suggestions here. You mentioned Tremblant and I think you will be very happy with that choice if that is where you end up. Park the car under the town and not have to drive anywhere until it's time to go home. The mountain isn't...

    Ski Sundown Opening Predictions

I doubt that. From all the times I have skied with you, you have done nothing but rip it up. So what night of the week are we planning on having the AZ group Sundown homer sessions this year?

    Ski Sundown Opening Predictions

How did the bump comp/comps go last year? I'm sure I could look up the threads but that would be too easy. Did Greg get beat by a girl again? J/K

    Ski Sundown Opening Predictions

Just don't let my wife know. I think she will take a sawzall to my skis if she finds out I'm hitting the bumps again. The doctors want me to take one more season off but they are not skiers so they have no clue how hard it is to stay away ;-)

    Thunder Ridge

I grew up about 5 minutes from there and skied it just about every night of the week. There isn’t much to talk about though. It is pretty flat and very small. In all the years I skied there they never really had any bumps that I can remember. They use to let VW size mounds build up on one of the...

    Tuckerman's 1952 - 1954

If it wasn't for all the old cars in the parking lot, the hair styles and the 10 foot skis a few of those pics could pass for only a couple years old.
