I'm wondering if a lot of casual skiers are staying closer to home this season because of fuel costs?

The first year they had that, I went at 2AM and parked at Row 4. I don't know if people just got aware of the event or it was the storm, but the crowd on the webcam was just the worst I've ever seen at Wachusett. I'm glad I didn't drive over and find the lots closed.

Sounds like the storm is going to be hitting right in the middle of the event. I think I'm going to be heading out around 2 AM or so, the conditions should be sweet. I'll be on tele gear if anyone's around.
