Stratton had crazy lines yesterday--but a bunch of lifts were down due to wind. Plus everyone came out due to the recent storms. Today at Pico was not crowded at all.

I was there today. The snow was awesome--usually I avoid moguls unless they are soft spring bumps but due to the snow conditions today I was able to spend 75% of the time working on them. The conditions were like a normal day in Colorado--pretty unique for mid March in New England.

Pretty much the only thing I enjoy about skiing in the rain is that quite often, there won't be a lot of other people there.

Yeah, I'm with Riverskier. I'll talk if the other person initiates conversation--I'm not going to snub someone--but I generally don't like small talk.

I wondered if the fact that the Patriots are playing a big game this Sunday will have any effect on skier visits on Sunday--despite the holiday weekend. The fact that the weather has been crap, limited open terrain and the game I was thinking could possibly translate into fewer people...

Aspen, Telluride, Winter Park and Steamboat were there. No Copper and no Crested Butte. Vail Resorts had general booth that covered all its locations.

Have never been to Killington on BMMC weekend--- Is it a complete zoo when actually skiing or is most of the chaos confined to the Bear Mountain base? I'm considering going that weekend, but am just wondering how busy the actual skiing tends to be or if most people just go for the party...
