You could justify 2 days at both Alta and SB. I rather spend 2 days at Alta because it takes more time to get to some of the fun spots there. Where as SB you can hit a lot of great terrain right off of lifts. At the same time, SB has 2 completely separate parts of the mountain...tough call...

Giro recommends 3-5 years from purchase date. i just replaced mine after 12 years.

Rocky Mountain Underground in Breck. Great ski bar. Bar w/ ski movies on one side. Retail ski shop on the other. Have enough beers and the skis start calling your name.

Yesterday was out of this world. Got there w/ 6" or so of nice fresh snow. Even coverage, no wind. It started snowing again around 9:30 and dumped until 12 or 1 before the sun broke through and turned into bluebird. There was no wind until later in the afternoon, it truly was like skiing...

If i didn't like trees or bumps and was looking at a new ski I'd look at the Blizzard Quattro line over the Brahma.

I had to laugh when locals were saying that this was the worst winter in 13 years. I skied 4 days, Brighton, Solitude, Alta, Brighton. Skiing was fantastic, hit a 10" powder day at Solitude. They just opened Devils Castle at Alta. I don't know what you're hoping to ski if you can't find it...

any snow last night?

anyone ski cannon today? likely heading up tomorrow morning, wanted to see if they roped anything off after it firmed up the last couple of days.

I was at Cannon today,Sunday. Fantastic coverage. The new guns and cold temps are making really nice stuff. Quiet under foot. Everything off the summit was awesome. Paulies opened up with an INSANE amount of blown snow that made for some fun bumps. I didn't realize how big of an impact this...

My opinion of Cannon Saturday was pretty different than what I've read here. First trip down from the Peabody was awful, pretty much solid ice with a few patches of nice snow if you stuck to the sides. Made my way to the front 5. Zoomer/Paulies/Avy were fantastic from 8:30am until 10:30...
