Skiing on the cheap - 2018-19

Ski Vermont has a great deal for 5th graders if you need to pick up some tickets for the kiddos. The 5th grade passport gives you three tickets to every VT ski resort. Most have holiday blackout dates but a great deal at $10. Of course you have to have a 5th grader... or know someone who has one.

Mount Snow says they cleared a bunch of new woods.

We made Mount Snow our main mountain this year and had some feedback from our experience. North Face: Most people know the trees off Olympic. Fun with mix of difficulties but we felt the trees to the right of the challenger lift line were the most challenging and fun on that side of the...

    Killington Lodging?

The Summit Lodge. My wife and I love this place. Hot tub, pool, big fireplace, great breakfast and a couple St. Bernard's wandering around. Perfect. AAA discounts. Fairly reasonable prices. http://www.summitlodgevermont.com/index.shtml

Newly tuned skis are killing me!

This is what I feel needs to be done but I don't want to screw them up even more. The skis feel like they have grown claws. I hate taking stuff back to a store but it's probably the best move. Great input fellas. Thanks.

Newly tuned skis are killing me!

Any feedback appreciated. I had my skis tuned recently. I won't say where. It's the first time since buying them. I have had them 4 years and have only been averaging 10-12 days a year. I have had skis sharpened a number of times in the past and the only result was better edge grip on hard...

    Grounds for Divorce??

Get a ski pre-nup outlining the minimum number of days you will ski each year with or without her and include any yearly ski trips. I had done a yearly ski trip out west 10 years in a row before marrying my wife and now seven years after and she has busted my balls all seven years. And it really...

Catamount is the worst in the EAST !!!!

I have taken my 4 year old to Nashoba the past 7 Saturdays for his ski lesson. Their magic carpet has an attendant at the bottom and one at the top. I can't imagine the chaos there would be if the attendants we're absent. I certainly would be pissed if my kid or anyone else was being dragged...
