Use this instead of ski wax

You should wax your skis periodically. Foolishly, I skied on dry bases on hard granular spring "sugar" snow. Just too lazy to wax, try going to go an extra day. By the end of the day, noticed wet plex hairs getting raised up off the bases.

May 1st and Mother Nature is Confused

It snowed 1-3 inches last week for a day while I was passing through Stratton. It was beautiful. But then it melted in a day.

    Killington Closing Juggernaut

I skied it twice in my lifetime. First time was fun, just enough pitch, longer way down to skyeship base than great eastern. 2nd and last time, flat and uphill in spots. Generally sucked. Won't miss it really

May 1st and Mother Nature is Confused

Strange thing is that it's still winter range in temperatures in a few places out west and Europe(Banff, Snowbird, Winter Park, and may Val Disere and Zermatt) if you seek it. Unfortunately I called it quits a few weeks ago when it look like winter was completely falling off the table so...

    New to You in 2018-2019

I went to a few new places courtesy of the Ikon pass. Steamboat and Winters Park plus went back to Deer Valley after last skiing there in around 2003. Also went to Val Disere /Tignes for 5 days Non Ikon pass. Previously had only gone there for 1 day.

    Lake Louise

Banff seems to be still reporting mid winter temperatures for what it's worth. For those still chasing winter this late in the season, could be a decent landing spot.

    Lake Louise

Another thing to add.... The inexpensive hotel/motels are setup a bit like Jackson hole. You stay in town and take free shuttle/charter buses to the mountains about 25 minutes away. So I skied at Sunshine Village and Lake Louise. So if you take an airport shuttle to the hotel, no need to...

    Lake Louise

I went there in January 2017 during a low snow year. As a result we were cruising on frozen hardpack. It was frigid and bitterly cold and I broke a binding crashing in an icy mogul. You might want to consider going in March April instead and give mother nature a chance to cover those...

    Utah?

Snowbird/Alta just got 42 Inches of snow in 3 days. You can't have a bad time when conditions are like that. Even the taste of mediocre resort cafeteria food is improved.

Want to Buy Wtb Tyrolia LD 12 Railflex bindings

I broke a heel piece for my bindings. Does anyone have this bindings and want to sell? While I am just looking for a heel piece, if you have the whole set I would be interested. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
