Watching goddell talk, while at work. Thought this was funny how each network put a spin on their headlines.
Do it! Earn your turns! (And post a TR)
In Soviet Russia, beer drink you!
I'd also add you may want to hit steamboat first if you're concerned about altitude sickness. Steamboat has one of the lowest base elevations for a ski resort in the state at a "mere" 6,900 ft....
I heard the skiing in Florida sucks. :smash:
Trying to get to Jackson this year, they are pretty hard to find discounts for as well.
Is that the mountain collective? Or that comes with the Alta/Snowbird pass?
Are you referring to those automated ski kiosks in some rentals shops?
They have those in CO too (I don't think they are the same company)
Never been to Aspen (Ajax). Will go this season though.
Snowmass has some serious vert. To the point where you're like "Am I at the top yet", and that's with detachable lifts (Part of this is due...
You have two options:
4x40: $199 and you get 2 days each at Steamboat and Winter Park, no blackout dates.
Intrawest Passport: $589, and 6 days at EACH resort, no blackout dates.
I think that pretty much shows the exact type of prissy clientele that ski's there.
Snowmass is definitely legit. While they have the built up town to cater to all skiers Apres-ski desires,...
#1 is out, and it's Whistler. No surprises there. I am surprised that there were no other Western Canadian resorts though.
I feel like I'm having déjà Vu
I only skied there once last year, it was on a pow day though, I think about 6-7 inches at the bottom and 9-10 at the top.
There's nothing overly challenging at SB, but I loved it anyways. The low...
The next quanitive measurement of a resort will be the masseuse per capita ratio
This could potentially be a good deal.... (Keyword being potentially)
The Colorado Gold Pass is valid at 20 Colorado Ski Resorts....
Ah, I pulled up the wrong trail map. I was looking at holiday Mtn, which is considerably smaller.
Once skiers left mentioned all the acreage I had to go back and check again.
First time I've ever bothered to read ski magazine :p maybe I've just overlooked it before. Well good on them keeping up with the major players
Since MRG made the cut, it's no longer allowed to be mentioned in the "most underrated" thread. Same with alta
Holiday valley? I've never even heard of this place. Anyone who's skied there care to...
Whoever bites the bullet and gets an AZ tattoo will be the first to get the newest batch of stickers
It's ranked by the readers, which apparently prefer groomers over gnar, so I guess that's why Northstar is ahead of Squaw. But with that logic, Jackson Hole should be right there along with them.
I wouldn't go that far.....Utah consistently gets better snow than Colorado. The proximity of the resorts to SLC is a major draw, and PCMR on the Epic pass now should only increase visits as well.
And the west. #1 will be announced tomorrow, 99% sure it's Whistler
and no pitchers of beer, no double shots, no happy hour, blue laws on Sunday.....O wait that's Massachusetts.
