The ear pads don't pull out on your new one? I've had three helmets and they've all been removable, along with the internal padding.
Another thumbs up for the shuttle service from Frisco. The nightlife options in downtown Frisco, where I stayed, are quite limited compared to something like Breckenridge, but they will do.
Done at 33. Used to do better but I'm starting to think this is the new norm for me. Good season, though. Number of powder days were above average.
I started to just for the ski prize but I lost patience after page 1.
Pet peeve: tailgaters. I'm always going a bit above the speed limit. No one should tailgate me ever, but it somehow happens.
Turnout was like a typical Tuesday, IME. I bought my pass for next year while I was there.
Skied the last day for the Cat today. Very fun and hung out with some cool folks. I'm not sure I'm done personally but Wildcat had a stellar season from my point of view.
It's interesting how some folks hit a certain year musically, and then....stop. They are no longer accepting of or interested in new tunes of any kind. There should be a mental diagnosis for that.
Funny, I never notice that. I have noticed disturbingly hard to spot "undercover" type police vehicles that have pulled people over.
Not sustainable, I guess, but I had a lot of good times on that pass. Got it a few years in a row and used the hell out of it.
Gondolas aren't nice. They're often gross, breath-filled chambers. Taking your skis off every run blows. Bubble chairs provide a good amount of protection. It's a perfect compromise in my book.
You're joking but I always like to point out: bubble chair > gondola.
Last summer was the best I could remember since moving to NH. Very consistent, comfortable temps that made being outside a pleasure, so we kayaked frequently. A ton of hot, humid days will keep me...
The beer never goes away but I've been drinking an alarming amount of rum and cokes in the past year. Not proud of those. Been working some Jack (or Jameson) and gingers also which I like more.
Yes it's very good. I grab it whenever I see it.
Wow, that looks amazing.
It's the 19th, stoner.
Pretty cool pic from there on Twitter today.
Sorry Scotty, didn't see your post. These are 180 length with an 88 waist.
They have a good amount of tip rocker and mild tail rocker. Otherwise cambered.
I was there on Mon and Tue. The natural trails have numerous bare spots. If conditions are spring perfect, like on Monday, there's quite a bit open.
Video they posted from yesterday:
+100. Just spending time in the mountains is its own reward.
We use the paid version of Pandora and Songza for streaming. Also use Rhapsody for more on demand listening and building playlists.
Yesterday at Wildcat was an absolute perfect spring delight.
Today was shaping up fairly well but the sun became a bit dodgy and we bailed.
Yeah, there are bumps.
