First half of that video is all sick terrain! Steep bumps. Skiing into that fence after the tunnel would make me grow a tail.

trail(s)?
Best - Summit Glades at Pico
Worst - Lower Limelight at Okemo.. an ice rink packed like sardines
lift(s)?
Best - whatever gets me to the top
Worst - Magic Red Chair the day it broke...
Haven't been to one of these in probably 13-14 years. It was in Randolph VT that year. Good times and fond memories of the bunny hop competition among others.
Any idea what trails will be open? Besides Steins?
Might be worth the trip if there's a dozen good runs. I can afford free!
Love love love K early and late season. When everyone else is closed they are offering legit skiing!
I might prefer more low key destinations for most of the mid season but Killington is doing us...
Hows it looking for mid week this week? Might be my last chance for the season.
I know most of the woods are "closed" but as long as Flume is open Julio and Anarchy are fair game. Keep in mind any...
Great read. I wanted to head up this year but alas find myself without proper gear and the funds to attain it in short notice.
Seems like all good tips to me.
Damn a lot of places closed today. WTF is up with closing with 90% terrain still open?
Didn't these ski areas want a decent spring skiing season? Apparently it makes no difference to areas unless...
I'll keep this one brief. My friend had a couple $11 Liftopia tickets and invited me to go, so of course!
The parking lot was pretty empty and the lodge was also empty. Ski on to the lifts all...
Haha funny replies. Glad (most) of you enjoyed it ;)
Looks all skiable to me. Except for the tree across Slide of Hans lol..
Magic had a pretty good season I guess... I had some great days there and hit it while it was good.. but I guess it is...
Thanks Nick and Alpinezone for making this happen! My skiing has dropped off in frequency this March which is normally prime season due to some financial hardships that popped up... but I had the...
Oh Christ that looks good. Can't wait for Sunday! Hope all the chutes etc are still open. Looks like they should be :D
Never have. Fall down in some deep snow a couple times a season, that works.
I had to stop watching after 2 minutes due to jealousy. Haven't been able to get out in the last 2 weeks due to zero cash issues.
However heading to Jay Peak this weekend thanks to AlpineZone...
You lucky bastards !!! ;)
Looks like fun snow. Nashoba is more fun than its vert would suggest. At least from what I remember as a kid.
I find that Okemo is the more challenging mountain vs Stratton, due to its trails having the highest population density in the state of Vermont.
Also Stratton is even flatter.
Wouldn't be surprised if Superstar has snow later in the season than Tucks this year. The mounds of snow are insane.
Spring is the skiing we've been waiting for.
Too bad I didn't budget this year and now= broke. :slap:
I don't know... are your skis made of leather?
Not a good sign for Sugarbush if early March they are in preservation mode.
But by the looks of what I saw pictures of the Castlerock Challenge a few days ago they don't have much natural base up...
what you call decent to rough looks like what I call prime !
Nice tour.. I liked your pic of Jay from Owls. Never seen that view before.
Glad to see BV represented here. Did you by chance ski Preacher / Devil's Playground? That's some fun stuff
Yeah but really who wants to drive 3+ hours to ski only lower mountain terrain at any ski resort? And Sugarbush best terrain North and South is def upper mountain (Heaven's Gate, Castlerock and the...
