Night skiing at Jiminy adds 5-6 days to the total. As a Hunter pass holder I ski every weekend day Dec to at least mid-April. And I make sure to use vaca time over holidays (Tgiving, Xmas, Pres week)...
WWF-VT sounds like us...I have 49 days, mostly weekends and holidays.
Karl is at K with his daughters today...41 in parking lot now, 28 at summit. Everything is groomed or closed.
Weekend looks good.
Nice seeing Scotty, Rambo, Cornhead, Kingslug, and Hawkshot99 at Hunter this past weekend!
2 epic spring bump days. A little sore today, and a little bummed Hunter is done for the season.
Hunter was amazing again today. Perfect Spring day. 44 top to bottom except for small break at headwall. Right side Clair's epic. Lower K and Upper Xover exceptional. Eisenhower and Racer's skiing in...
Batman scored major style points.
Sunday was the ticket for sure...a perfect Spring day. In addition to the trails you've already mentioned Lower K27 was also tremendous. Not used to having 44 open top to bottom in April!
Will be there Sat-Sun. Tons of snow still.
100mm underfoot, 130mm tip, 120mm tail, 35% rockered tip, 20% rockered tail.
No, not at all.
I got to ski stuff at Stowe usually not in play like the very top of Liftline, Goat, and National. Those trails and Starr and Lookout were solid powder bumps. Really sweet. But the woods were why I...
I ate lunch in the midst of your group on Tuesday at the lodge above the gondola; Bob Shostek was the group leader? Level II? If you passed that with Bob you'll do well at other exams. Surprised I...
Was there Tues-Wed, conditions were still amazing; still fresh lines in many woods areas with a little looking.
Best 2 days of the season by far; pretty exhausted even today.
Stowe was ridiculous today. A top 5 all time day for me. Get it while you can.
Today was as epic as you guys described. I never knew there were so many tree options on the Gondola side. There is a lot of snow here.
Partly cloudy giving way to sun and 30's. Great day in the...
Gonna be there. Anybody else?
Would enjoy hooking up with you or anyone else coming to Hunter this spring. Tons of snow means this is going to be an epic spring season.
Yesterday was day 40.
I would be down for this also.
I could do a weekend, weekdays, or a combo. Won't drive that far for less than 2 days, would prefer 3.
Would have to be after 3/22.
I was there on Sunday with Scotty...our experiences were the same.
A great day.
Plattekill tomorrow for me.
Not arguing with you Matt, I totally understand your feelings. And you're right about the legal aspects.
Just wish it was more even handed.
No...just pointing out a somewhat obvious hypocrisy. They use deadly force on a shack but allow drunken sliding. All in the name of the law.
