That base elevation is very helpful for retention. It seems to do wonders for the snow quality at Saddleback.

Pathetic. A little harsh not meeting his buddy at the clinic, but then, it's not clear that they're close friends. You don't get the feeling that they are.

It's a toss up, with the info you've given. Dining options in NC far exceed those in Bethel but you're only skiing two days. Wildcat and Attitash both provide some challenge if you're looking for...

I didn't know that. Mandates aside, I'd welcome a camera in my next car. I've always been quite competent with parallel parking and such but I've never gotten used to judging distance while backing...

Roku has the largest app selection by a long shot over the other boxes. The interface is outstanding putting blu-ray and smart TV software to shame.

I use the 180 as a daily driver. I'm 5' 11", 175 lbs. the ski handles like dream but I never tried the 173. My last ski was a fully cambered 170 Kendo and these are no harder to drive.

I highly recommend the Butler House in downtown Stowe. Very decent accommodations and a Mexican restaurant downstairs. As Stowe goes, the price is right.

I'd guess we take 60 to 75 minutes. Time enough for a couple of beers usually, although I've switched it up from time to time. We're weekday skiers, so it's not like we lose time in lift lines. A...

    Feb 22-23rd - Dump a Day Club

As long as the winds are mellow I agree with all of this. I'm just not so eager to deal with the cold as I used to be. High of 13 on Tuesday so that's pretty sweet....I guess.

Have you tried the Chromecast at any hotels on trips?

I'm thinking of picking up a Roku stick for traveling. If the hotel has decent wifi, I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work.

I'd think low inflation = softer tires, which would be better for snow. Overinflation would tighten up the tread and decrease grip on snow.
