rumor has it that apple will be introducing shortly "airtags", like tile brand locator tags but using ultra wide band radio frequency. Anyone have any insight into whether these things would work to locate a ski buried under the snow?

My first trip out to BC was quite memorable. Skied the first 2 days at whitewater. they hadnt had any snow in 2 weeks so the conditions were challenging. anything in the sun was unskiable crusty crud. Shaded areas had hardpack that was chalky, so it was difficult but doable. That being said...
