    Season Pass Options/Considerations

Loon announced two new pass products today after having suspended pass sales earlier in this pandemic. https://www.loonmtn.com/season-passes? I already have a LTD pass so I am encouraged to see the note about their goal to not require reservations for pass holders.

    Who is OPEN Still

Sorry to interrupt the gun argument but...Waterville just ended it. From their daily update page: Despite these efforts, and despite the extremely limited personal contact inherent in our reduced operations, our continuing operations have been met with outcry by many who choose to...

Jay Peak closed for season as of Saturday 4pm

I hope this isn't true. I'm sitting in Lincoln, NH getting ready to head out. Local news (WMUR) had a short piece on ski areas' response and mentioned that Cannon plans to remain open until April 12. Races and some other events have been cancelled. Also Loon closed gondola for the season and...

    Waterville Valley

Regarding the ticket: It's an easy process. You pay online by Friday and pickup at a designated spot in the lodge Sat AM. I used NB at Cannon earlier this season. The ticket is direct to lift, no voucher or anything like that.

    AAA roadside assistance?

Yes. I am in RI (unfortunately) and the DMV is insane. These were from the late 80s and had survived two of the ex-wife's crashes. I decided to get new ones for my new car and they make you bring the old, twisted, rusted ones back before they will cancel the registration.

    AAA roadside assistance?

I have AAA. I used them for roadside assistance once in the mountains although it was summer. I was @ Pinkham Notch and I had just hiked Mt Wash. My battery was dead. I called and about 20 mins later, a tow truck appeared and gave me a jump so I could drive home. He was dispatched out of N...

Except for Killington-very weak effort to get open

Cannon has announced the Saturday before Thanksgiving...Nov 23rd. Which would seem to be a week early for them. And Bretton has announced Thanksgiving weekend which does seem late. I'm interested to see what thy offer at the Boson Ski Expo next week. They usually have some cheap multipacks but...

Skiing on the cheap - 2019-2020

I think they look OK and provide another option. It depends on your personal situation. I ski out of a place in Lincoln so the Cannon deal offered is a very good one for me, considering the dates are Saturdays. I used to get the White Mountain Super Pass and I still may for this year. Weekend...
