    Lake Effect in Full Effect

12-3-16 Sugarbush Lake effect squalls piled up overnight Friday night all along the Green Mountain spine and continued for most of the day today. 1st day out for the year and I was thinking of hitting SVT today but after watching the squalls on doppler all day Friday I knew the goods were...

    Plattekill 2/22/15

To fill out some more Catskill stoke, here are some remarks on Sunday's pow fest. Best conditions I've _ever_ seen on the mountain. Although, while barely noticeable, it was also the most crowded I've ever seen it as well. Have only been here a couple times, but each time I seem to find a new...

    Skinning the Catskills

Was thinking of getting out and earning some turns this weekend in the Catskills or Eastern PA/NJ. Anyone know of any mountains in the general area that allow uphill traffic? Plattekill is still closed, am thinking that might be a good option if they allow it while they are snowmaking.

    Ski VT passes

Ok so what _is_ the deal with these things? Finding out about them is nigh impossible: The Ski Vermont website does not have any info posted about them, they are not answering emails, and the phone line goes straight to voicemail. When do they go on sale, and are they only available through...
