However the CastleRock/North Lynx pod has always been the most interesting to me. The other trials are well thought out too. Win’s work……

This last one is more accurate and obviously more recent of how the pod would be laid out. Nice pod too off GMX “summit” down into lower FIS territory. Real shame how Inverness has become a GMVS dedicated pod. Love racing and racers, but sharing the pod more should occur.

Can’t disagree on need to increase pump capacity, but having been involved with the day to day weather since Ski Magic took over, I can tell you that the #1 problem has been the late start due to various issues, pond being the big one these past 2 years. For instance this past year it was not...

Many of the glades on the map were there prior, just like there are many glades not identified, and hopefully will remain so. There’s a bit of a balance between the desires of the volunteers who each fall spend 3 days (or more) clearing glades, and management who wants to add more glades to the...

Yes a full-on day - impressive (and probably painful in a good way). My point was there was still terrain left on the table. It’s not possible to ski it all in a day, especially given tree stashes.

If you’re thinking of skiing SoVT during a storm with strong winds you have look at Magic. Lower summit, heavy double and quad tucked in out of the wind. If they go on windhold you do not want to be anywhere outside lol…..

Freakin awesome day. Deep fresh shots all day. I was asked to help with sweeps and that end of the day run through on-the-map glades still had plenty of pow shots. End of day patrol discussion was 16-20”. IN APRIL! Open all weekend, grand finale. Get it now or regret it all summer! The glade...

Mixed precip Wednesday is a given. How quickly it changes to snow Wednesday night is key to totals, especially accumulation by 9am. NWS total is 6-14” and the group Magic uses is 8-14”. Lots of wind Wednesday overnight into Thursday morning but the worst will be downslope on the western side...

Subject change if I may. Local kid organizing a charity event to benefit the Howard Center. I and my daughter are NOT local, but we have family in Warren, so she was invited to perform (she lives in BTV now). That aside, it’s the organization that warrants your attention. “Howard Center helps...
