I learned to ski at Whites Park in Concord, NH. The "slope" was about 100' long and 20' wide. You could only go straight down the hill because kids were lined up on the side. The instructor taught about 30 young kids to snowplow. It was a Park and Rec class.

Not replacing the gas pump was a poor business decision. What did the pump cost in labor/travel once it failed. Also, the employees aware of the situation feel like they're working for idiots.

The Comfort Inn in N. Conway is nice. You could go north of the notch and go to Town and Country Inn. The nice thing about the later is Sunday River is just over the border so you could hit both.
