    Hiccups

Deep breath in, hold it. Let it out slowly and hold it. Hiccups are your diaphragm having a spasm. Slow controlled breathing will stop it.

    Big Sky Lodging

I picked up a 1 bedroom on AirBnB for 70 a night. Ski in, 10 min walk to lift and on the shuttle route.

    Salt Lake City Lodging Info

A lot of the places in Sandy seem to be converted basement apartments. The places downtown are stand alone apartments often in a large building complex.

    Salt Lake City Lodging Info

No but as I’m looking at available places I’m not sure I should rule out the downtown area. There are a lot of very reasonably priced places there.

    Salt Lake City Lodging Info

I am driving on this trip. Will probably use the bus a few times to see how it is for possible future trips by plane with the hopes of not having to rent a car. I already have a 8 days in Jackson booked for another trip where I will be flying. I’ll use my 5 days then and also try and ski GT or...

    Salt Lake City Lodging Info

I am staying in SLC for two weeks with a trip up to Big Ski over the weekend in the middle. I was planning on hitting up all the ikon mountains at least once and then going to the ones I like more so want maximum flexibility with where I stay. Is it better to stay close to the canyons in sandy...

    New to You in 2018-2019

When were you here? Did you try Mt Bachelor? Huge mountain with the most consistent conditions I’ve experienced. 443 inches so far this year!

    New to You in 2018-2019

Mt Shasta was a nice little spot in Northern California. All fixed grip lifts but they moved pretty fast and a nice mix of terrain. Also hit Mt Rose and Sugarbowl. Planning to hit squaw this month and again over Fourth of July.

    Indy Ski Pass

Found it on the page I linked above: Organizers have begun outreach to the Midwest, Northeast and Canadian markets to round out the offering. Eighty-five percent of pass revenue will be split among partner resorts based on total redemptions, with 9 percent allocated to marketing the pass and...

    Indy Ski Pass

I am really liking this pass. It has three places that are within 2 hours of me. This site https://www.saminfo.com/headline-news/9291-indy-pass-targets-independent-areas-casual-skiers mentions 11 places already on the pass. I can't find where I read it but I thought the guy putting this together...

Lake Tahoe Reno and Mammoth info please

Used to live in central Vermont and skied sugarbush. Moved out to southern Oregon a year an a half ago. I’m about a 5.5 hour drive from Tahoe. Sugarbowl has some decently priced tickets and Mt Rose is definitely an option. Will plan at least a trip or two to squaw once the ikon pass becomes...

Lake Tahoe Reno and Mammoth info please

I was planning on heading to Lake Tahoe the 2nd week of March. Staying in Reno and was planning on picking up a 4 day pass for Squaw Valley. Now with Squaw being on the Ikon for spring this year in April spending 400 bucks for a 4 day pass seems silly when I can just put that 400 towards the...

    Help Choosing New Skis

Demoed a pair of Atomic Backland 109s for two days at Mt Bachelor this weekend during a 56 inch dump. The skis were great and felt really springy. Small bumps on run outs gave you a few inches of air without even trying. Thinking about picking up a pair of these if I can find the right price.

    Help Choosing New Skis

Looking for a new pair of skis. Over the last few years I have used: Cham 107s - absolutely loved these and seriously considering finding a new pair. Atomic Theory 90s these were a little more responsive and quicker imo Line Prophet 90s - heavy and slow yo respond. Started the season on...
