Date(s) Skied: 12/18+19/10

Resort or Ski Area: Blue Mountain

Conditions: Man made Packed Powder

Trip Report: At Blue with my boys Saturday, crowds where relatively light. Bumps on main St (guess you were right Gorgonzola). Conditions were pretty good but tended to get scraped up later in the afternoon. Just psyched to be back. New fangled e-readers were working intermittently. Be fair and give them time.

Sunday was a near repeat of Saturday. Good to be hooking up with friends I have not seen in a year. Bumps now on skiers left on challenger. Run of the day (both days actually) was Raceway (widowmaker). Can only access it from the old double so a lot of people don't bother.

Only trail not getting any love was switchback but that should change soon.

Sorry for the lack of TR's. I'm just really busy with life stuff. I have been taking pics though, so that will have to do for now.

The skiing is great, snow is great, people are great.

GoPro

So I had the GoPro mounted to my ski pole using the bike mount. Pretty simple setup really (crappy pic, but you'll get the idea).

Anyway, here's what I put together. I botched an edit or two, I'm still getting used to the editing software, but getting much better at it. Should be a fun season.

Anyone want to comment on the quality of the bumps? Seeded? Size? How the lines were?

I'm no bumphead, but here ya go;

Challenger and Main st bumps are seeded. Judging by the snow making on nightmare that should also open soon (i.e., seeded bumps).

Multiple lines on both slopes. Early on they were good. I heard at the start of the season they were exceptional (I was not there then). They were fun, but some areas getting scrapped good.

The resident bump aficionados are putting on two comps this year. They have been working with the groomers to get it right so it should just be getting better.
