First of all, I can't thank the8re enough for his help writing the PHP for this. Anyway, have a look below at the new system for our ski resort profiles:

http://skiing.alpinezone.com/resorts/

You'll notice only CT is done as I need to review each resort's data to confirm completeness and accuracy. It's going to take some time to finish the data set, but I'll post updates here as I make progress. Ahhh....the joys of data entry.

With the8re's new scripts it's going to make updating these pages amazingly easy versus the current static HTML approach that is currently being linked from http://skiing.alpinezone.com/
This system will also allow me to expand coverage more easily to other Northeast states. Please feel free to make suggestions or comments here. Thanks again the8re!

Man, that must've taken a week to do.
6 Days, 23 hours, 59 mintures- sleep, eat, ski
1 minute: enter in all of the resorts in RI.

I noticed you tweaked so that the trail types are percentages ( I think I had left them at a straight number). You might want to add a "%" where appropriate. Not sure if you have to escape (\%) the character in PHP.

Thanks. I added the %. I'm also done with Mass:

By the way, if anyone notices I missed an area, let me know and I'll add it. Thanks!

How about making the alt image on the trail difficulty say how many trails are represented by the percentage below the difficulty image?

Also, may want to add a % on the Snowmaking line.

Done and done. Although I simply put the percentage as the alt text. Thanks! :)

Maine is done:

http://skiing.alpinezone.com/resorts/state.htm?state=ME

I'm working hard to provide the most accurate information possible so this is taking some time. Many of the resorts didn't even have Web sites back in 1998/1999 when I first put together the profiles so now there is much more information available even for the smaller resorts. If you see any mistakes, please let me know and I'll fix them.

I also added a National Weather Service Forecast link that will provides a weather forecast from the NOAA Web site. If there are any other features or info you'd like to see, let me know. I hope these will be helpful!

You may want to add the units (' or ft or feet) to the verticle drop field.
Done. More good advice. Thanks!

And.............

New York:

http://skiing.alpinezone.com/resorts/state.htm?state=NY

A pretty tedious, but worthwhile exercise! All of the resort profile information is now updated and as accurate as possible. I would like to go live with this on the rest of the site in a day or two so if you notice anything incorrect, please let me know. It's amazing how many poorly laid out resort Web sites there are. I hope my efforts here will help you efficiently find the info you need.
