Belle's steepest might have a slight edge in places, but Platty's are sustained longer. More bumps at Belle, which increases the challenge. Belle's trees have fewer obstacles in my experience (I've heard there's an unofficial crew that cleans the woods during summer). Each area has its strong points. I always have fun at either one. wow i forgot about tanglewood. skied there once when i was just starting out in the 70's. even as a beginner thought it was flat.
