As it turns out, my wife has small feet, too, but not as small as she was thinking. We got orthotics made for her, and they'll only fit in a size nine, not the 7.5's she's been buying. No wonder her feet hurt.

Man, take her to a bootguy and have some footbeds made that'll fit HER feet!...for the intended good-fitting boot. Nothing's more painful than a footbed made not for your footsize/structure.

The orthotics are getting fine tuned today, and they do fit in her new boots. Amazingly, she may have actually bought the correct size in footwear, for once.
