Mt Gunstock Ski hoist.Next door in 1938 Belknap ski area added a lift.Mt Rowe is also another name out there.

The bang board was at the top of that 3100 ft rope tow and was used as a safety.If a skier got caught up in the tow they would bang up against the board setting off the switch and stopping the lift.
