The Castelli Duran Short Sleeve Jersey looks swift with its clean, striped design - so much so that we're sure that you'll go faster while wearing it. It's part of their Podium Collection and features logos on the chest and back with the classic Castelli cursive script. And to keep it from being too sanitary, it gets thin red bands on the sleeve cuffs to compliment the Castelli scorpion logo.
The Duran Jersey is made exclusively for the rider who demands comfort and style along with performance. The 100% polyester knit features a subtle waffled pattern that allows the fabric to be lighter and feel lighter. It's breezy because of the reduction in the surface area of the fabric lying against your skin. Combine this with the full-length zipper, and you'll be able to manage your temperature easily when the weather or the riding heats up.
One aspect that we really like is that the set-in sleeves have a simple hemmed cuff. There is no elastic or gripper material here. It's a nod toward comfort that you'll appreciate. We also like the UPF 45 rating. This means that the Duran Jersey will block roughly 95% of harmful UV rays as you do your long rides - one less worry to distract you from your training.
